Bom Bom is a new chocolate-coconut rum liqueur on the market. I had the pleasure of being part of the team that helped build the Bom Bom brand and website.

I headed the team that redesigned the website for the New York Power Authority's energy strategy, Reforming the Energy Vision (REV). This project had some unique requirements, including:
A double navigation: one with link backs to the www.ny.gov main site and one for the REV4NY website
Exit modals for all external links
A highly customized Google map showing all the current REV projects across the country, allowing you to search for them by zip code. Also included are pop-up boxes with info about each project
The creation of this map was the largest part of the project. Not only because there were 300+ items that needed to be matched with an image, a project description, and then pinned to the map, but also because of the level of customization this map required.
At its core, this is a Google map. Its functions and styling have been enhanced with coding and scripts. These enhancements include:

Zip code search
Custom designed pins
Info pop up boxes for each pinned project
Custom map styling
For this level of customization I collaborated with a web developer who did an amazing job building everything into a fusion table. Once the back end was built, my team and I went to work adding in all the content. The developer then installed the final map onto the site to complete this part of the project.
